PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Welltower, a major real estate investment trust, sought to create wellness-based communities instead of merely collecting rent. We developed “Whole System Vitality,” weaving architecture, nature, and shared amenities together to support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. This concept informed the launch of Cadia, a warm, cohesive brand identity complete with custom typefaces and signage. Cadia redefines traditional REIT properties by emphasizing daily movement, social interaction, and natural surroundings. Gardens, walkable paths, and communal spaces encourage residents to stay active, connect, and thrive. By shifting from passive landlordship to active wellbeing operator, Welltower reshaped its role in healthcare, lifestyle, and real estate. Early data showed improved occupancy, resident satisfaction, and premium pricing in Cadia-labeled developments. More importantly, the transformation aligned teams around a single vision: every decision should advance an environment that promotes holistic health.
