PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The North Central Iowa Coalition Against Human Trafficking is an organization that spreads awareness and fosters prevention, restoration, and justice against human trafficking. The central theme of the redesign is a powerful depiction of a hand breaking free from bondage, intricately forming the silhouette of Iowa. This symbolism is intentional, representing overcoming adversity and pointing to the 20 central counties supported by the coalition. The bondage itself is crafted to signify both the stark reality faced by victims, depicted by black duct tape, and focus on the 20 counties. The overlapping geometric forms of the logo are strikingly bold and draw inspiration from legendary designer Saul Bass.
