PROJECT DESCRIPTION
At Danne & Blackburn in 1974, I served as Design Director for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration redesign. It resulted in the iconic NASA Logotype, now well known throughout the world.
The development of the NASA Graphics Manual took another ten years and I continued serving as Design Director.
In 2021, Anicorn Watches, which had a lively relationship with NASA and had already produced several NASA watches, invited me to design a watch inspired by space. I conceived the watch to celebrate the silence of Space, its beauty, the revolving planets, and to feature the NASA Logotype.
The result: "The Space Watch" in two versions: Jet Silver and Space Black.
