PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Manhatta is a love letter to New York, and the people who make it unique. As the restaurant re-opened, the client wanted the branding to celebrate the people that bring the NY energy to life.
Perched 60 floors up the sweeping views capture the kinetic energy of the city and the branding is meant to capture the the heart beat of the city, the idiosyncrasies of the people which are the spark that ignite the streets we fall so hard for. The distinctive illustrations were inspired by two well known New York artist, Andy Warhol and Jason Polan. This free spirited sketch-style make the characters approachable and the space inviting for any occasion.
The Morris Project & the client felt it was important that a large cross section of diversity was represented in the characters.
